Zee Posted May 8, 2011 ID:426357 Share Posted May 8, 2011 Hello, I'm desperate for some help, my laptop is infected with the Win32/Zbot.G virus, and from what I have read the best solution is to reformat, but I was wondering, is it safe to save my files (pictures, videos, music etc) on my usb and then transfer them back when the reformat has been done? or will this re-infect the laptop? Also, when re-formatting, are there any particular options I need to choose in order to be rid of the virus? (i've never done a reformat, a little apprehensive i'll do it wrong!)
