Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please post a screenshot of MBAM's error.

Next, please do the following:

  • Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here
  • It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important
  • After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here
    • Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version
    • Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.

See if MBAM will run now.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.

I can not duplicate the 0 block error and it only appeared one time. I will remove Malwarebyte's and do a clean down load but need to know how to disable Microsoft Security Essentials

I am being asked to purchase malwarebytes and I own it

I am being asked to purchase malwarebytes and I own it

I am going to try to tell you what happened and hope I make sense

1. I removed Malwarebyte's and rebooted

2. When I rebooted the screen was like a large finger painting and everything was to large to get to and save buttons when I tried to resize my screen.

3. I could not open NVIDA and was told to get drivers . I went into safe mode in add/remove and removed NViDA driver to search for new one. I rebooted and found my system restore is gone. There are no system restore points it had been turned off.

4. I went to the link for a Fresh Download and got everything but a Download for Malwarebyte's including a offer to buy it. When I finally did get to a Download and pressed that it disconnected me from the internet.

5. I had a download folder and there was a set up for Malwarebyte's there so I used that and it is version 1.50.1.1100

I already have a copy of dds on my desktop and need to know if I should just download that one you have on line over the top of it sense I could not figure out how to remove it and the removal tool sent to me by Tom Markado did not remove any thing.

Seems to be running properly , only I need to find why I use so much CPU and PF usage in Task Manager. I will go and see if I can do a process of elimination of things that may not have to run.

Thank you for your time and I appreciated the support team sending me a fresh download with out all the ad's
