R.I.P. Glenn Lewis Frey (November 6, 1948 – January 18, 2016)

This is a little kitschy, but brings back fond memories:

And about a gazillion songs from the many, many years of one of the greatest rock bands

Today it's full moon, and it always makes me melancholy , most of my creations in words and poems comes to me in the days before the full moon.

And always makes me remember those I loved, I lost and so now I listen to this song of Shania Twain

comes close to my feelings now.

coincidental with the Blizzard of 2016....

"The Blizzard Of Ozz"

Great poetry in the Album.  Both in the Morning and Evening music and the flow of the album throughout the portrayal of a day.

Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white.
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion?

1Another bit of poetry is from the Moody Blues, In Search of the Lost Chord album, The Word.

This garden universe vibrates complete
Some, we get a sound so sweet
Vibrations reach on up to become light
And then through gamma, out of sight
Between the eyes and ears there lie
The sounds of colour and the light of a sigh
And to hear the sun, what a thing to believe
But it's all around if we could but perceive
To know ultraviolet, infrared and X-rays
Beauty to find in so many ways
Two notes of the chord, that's our poor scope
But to reach the chord is our life's hope
And to name the chord is important to some
So they give it a word, and the word is...

1.  I have posted similar content so it is redundant for the thread but, I think its worth revisiting.

One of only a couple I liked from that group but is a favorite of mine.

I wore out the vinyl on that album....

Highly underrated band, to be sure.

Still love their stuff.
