Need help with trojan infections

A few days ago I got a message suddenly telling me that my computer was infected with the Trojan.Zlob.G trojan, a message from the Microsoft Security Firewall I think. The popup kept showing up every couple of minutes and both Firefox and Internet Explorer became unusable, crashing quickly after opening. I used the Malwarebytes program as well as my virus scanner and found some items that I removed, but upon rebooting had the same problem. I attempted to revert my computer back to an earlier configuration through System Restore, but was unsuccessful as it wouldn't allow it. I rebooted in safe mode and ran Malwarebytes again, found nothing, and rebooted again with internet disconnected. Found more stuff, and removed. So far things seem to be working, but I think some residuals may still be on my system. I want to make sure everything is cleaned up before I go back to business as usual. Hate to sound pushy, but was just bumping the topic to see if anyone could help. I understand it might take awhile to get a response, as it seems a lot of people are having trouble with the same trojans. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
