Hello,

I found your this site googling my comp problem and found tomascubero's to be exactly what i am having.I read the entire post and Borislav's help. I dont want to try any of it until I can have someone instruct me what to do step by step as Borislav did say that the direction he was giving tomascubero was for his exact problem so I dont want to mess anything up. I will post this and hope to hear back with what I should do and thank you.I dont know how tomascubero accesses the logs he sends so I would need direction on how to do that as well.

The reference post is here:

Hey Guys,

Got this probably from some idiot .exe I downloaded yesterday, I have tried all over to get rid of it but nothing, here are my logs. On IE, the browser is hijacked and takes me to this homepage everytime:

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\MyGoogle.html

If I try to change it or delete it, it just comes again and changes it back to that value. My search engine is also compromised as well as www.google.com, taking me to this link:

Hello, and welcome to Malwarebytes.org

As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have.

You can follow the directions below and someone will assist you with running scans on your system to see if they can detect anything.

Please print out, read and follow the Directions HERE, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.

Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org

Thank you very much.
