Ignoring music files.

I have over 1100 CDs on my PC, in WMA format. Each with 10-30 tracks on. MBAM scans each & every one of them, track by track. Methinks this is why a full scan takes 1-hour & 30-minutes; half a game of football.

Is it possible for MBAM to skip, Documents&Settings/MyMusic ?

so, would performing a quick scan daily & a full scan weekly be the best course of action?

I hate full scans as much as you and that was one of the founding ideas behind MBAM , fast and functional quick scan .

Quick daily and full weekly is not a bad idea but keep in mind that this based on the idea that you are the average user . Someone with frequent malware problems should scan more often and someone that never gets malware could scan less often .
