Slizzard Posted April 1, 2011 ID:409342 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Just done my daily scan of Malewarebytes and got a result with an infected file. I checked the properties and seen it was a steam file. Anyway here is the file name and location:A0030155.dllc:\system volume information\_restore{f5134e58-dfc1-4dfc-b4b7-d13a489aa169}\RP167\A0030155.dllIs this a false alarm? As spybot and microsoft security essentials dont see it as a virus.I also got this file "A0030164.exe" same location as a virus the day before but didnt think much of it till I got a result for this new file. Any help would be appreciated.mbam-log-2011-04-01 (22-01-57).txtA0030155.rar

Slizzard Posted April 1, 2011 Author ID:409393 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Thank you very much. Also was it bad that I deleted the other file then? I know your not steam support but if you know it would be appreciated. Thank you.
nosirrah Posted April 2, 2011 ID:409516 Share Posted April 2, 2011 c:\system volume information\_restore <- that location is only a backup location, not an active location. Your software wont be affected.
