Is this anything to be concerned about and how do i fix this or don't worry about it. my pc is working perfectly. this occured just recently i was testing a new software from Systweak called Advanced System Protector 2.0 an antispyware , HomePage: http://www.systweak.com/AntiSpyware/default.asp found it at download.com today, http://www.download.com/8301-2007_4-101119...tag=mncol;title this error message occured after uninstalling once testing was completed or is that just coincidental. Guest remixed Posted December 4, 2008 ID:37793 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Open regedit and navigate to;HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager'Boot Execute' should show Data as 'autocheck autochk *' (without quotes)if not double-click 'Boot Execute' in the left pane to edit the multi-string.Also check ControlSet1/2 etc. Exit Regedit, reboot. laserjet Posted December 4, 2008 Author ID:37794 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Well thank you I double checked the Boot execute it is okay it showa Data as 'autocheck autochk *' (without quotes) That screen i had been getting earlier in my initial post no longer comes up on Boot Up since I did System Restore.
