MBAM application error Vista ultimae 32bit

Hi

I have used MBAM on a number of XP Pc's with great success. A fine tool. Today I hadan issue with a Vista Ultimate laptop. Symantec showed nothing but I have learned to trust MBAM so I installed it from the web site

no errors

updated it and ran it.

It failed with an application error

states mbam version 1.20.2

faulting module MSVBVM60.DLL version 6.0.97.97

exception code 0xc000005

fault offset 0x0005d209

apparently this is a Visual Basic module.

Can anyone advise me how to proceed?

You might check this post here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7377 Also, the current version of MBAM is 1.30 and the error is saying ver 1.20.2 (this may be the version number of the particular module, though so if you installed 1.30, please disregard the last part).
