Dell Inspiron with multiple infecions, trojan, adware, ssvagent exe....? Can my computer be cured?

Recommended Posts

My laptop was taken phone on line with no security protection, on google, gaming sights, p2p downloads,....you get the picture I'm sure. Was having windows security 2011 pop ups and intercity, paybunny, and plomedia redirects. Downloaded microsoft security essentials and did a full scan. Found 3 windows 32/adware and 1trojan windows 32/meredrop.my bf found something discuised as windows update in system configuratuons and deleted it so we could go online for the security scan. One day offline with no bugs but many locked or missing files, and when trying to go on EIther a a ssvagent message about java updating displays. Also, bluetooth will pair but wont transfer data via bluetooth. This is what's ive noticed so far. Is it pretty far gone or do I have a chance at making it functional again? Please help... Im clueless:(

Hi Jeniturd and Welcome to Malwarebytes!

Sounds like we have some work to do on this PC....

We need to look at some information about what is going on in your computer:

Please perform the following scan:

  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.

[*]Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.

[*]A small box will open, with an explanation about the tool.

[*]When done, DDS will open two (2) logs

    1. DDS.txt

    2. Attach.txt

[*] Save both reports to your desktop.

[*] The instructions here ask you to attach the Attach.txt.

    DDS.jpg

[*]Instead of attaching, please copy/past both logs into your Thread

[*]Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.

Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run.

After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection.

Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Information on A/V control HEREThen post your DDS (DDS.txt and Attach.txt

  • Save the report somewhere where you can find it. Click Close.

Copy the entire contents of the report and paste it in a reply here.

Note** you may get this warning it is ok, just ignore

"Rootkit Unhooker has detected a parasite inside itself!

It is recommended to remove parasite, okay?"

"just click on Cancel, then Accept".

In your next reply, please include these log(s):
