Cannot run most programs

Hello, and thank you for reviewing my thread. I am currently trying to solve an issue with my friends PC. I cannot run any anti malware/spyware programs (Stinger, MBAM, Spyware S&D, AVG, Dr Web Cureit, HJT etc.)

I have tried accessing Non Plug and Play drivers to locate TDSSSERV.SYS or anything like it but have come up empty.

I am getting symptoms of TDSSERV.SYS Rootkit infection. (Google redirect, programs not working, administrative rights not working etc.)

I have searched and searched, with no avail. Even have my USB Bootable version of Hirens Boot CD 2010, nothing I tried worked - Except for Spybot S&D, although severely outdated it did remove 8 Rootkit infections, 2 Antivirus/Firewall disable infections. Didn't make any difference.

Have found Antiviru/Antivirus.Evt manually in C:\WINDOWS\system 32\config - Antivirus 2010 related? The fake antivirus doesn't seem active on his PC

Excuse the double post - I couldn't find the edit post button (if there is one) as I am quite new to this forum. I just would like to include that I have attempted to run the programs in safe mode. Thanks!
