Hello Again!

Acquired an infection which both claimed hard drive problems with fake windows help screens etc. Ram mbam, deleted 7 trojans. Found files 'missing' from programs causing them not to run. Turned out to have been made hidden. changed file attributes in control panel and manually. Seems something is hiding files again. Mbam and hijackthis logs follow:

Download Combofix from this webpage: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

--------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Close any open browsers.

2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.

  • When finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" .

Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall

3. Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

Hello again. Heres the new logfile. AfterI copied the text into notepad and dropped it in combofix, combofix wanted to update, then it ran....hope that was supposed to happen.

Everything seems to be running fine now. There is a 'runtime error 75' still coming up when running the (realestate) Title program, but can get past that and use the program. All the files seem to be 'back' (unhidden. If all looks good on your end, I guess you've fixed the isue. Many thanks and have a great weekend!!
