greyowl Posted March 11, 2011 ID:398695 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Spycar.com is a site for checking the effectiveness of an anti-malware app. I am considering trying it on MBAM and Avira.I am wondering if this is a legitimate site and service. Would this in any way be harmful to my computer? Are there any other sites which perform tests on the effectiveness of your protection?Thank you for the help. exile360 Posted March 11, 2011 ID:398697 Share Posted March 11, 2011 It's perfectly safe and the test files on that site are perfectly benign .There is one more site to use for testing MBAM and that's iptest.malwarebytes.org, which is used for testing the Website Blocking component in the PRO version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
