Error loading database

Currently using MBAM as on-demand scanner. For the first time today on manually checking

for updates using malwarebytes.org, just after the updates began downloading, an error

window popped up ' Error loading database' plus some code ref. which I can't recall (sorry).

There was no way to get back to the GUI, as this error window always appeared.

Anyway I did a clean uninstall and then downloaded 1.30 and reinstalled - so far

all is OK again.

( On Windows XP SP2 - only apps. running at the time were Avira, Comodo 2.4, Returnil

with protection off, Sandboxie 3.32 but of course not running MBAM sandboxed, and

Proxomitron).

Just wondered why/how this might have occurred as I have never had this before with MBAM.

Hello everyone,

I have the same problem. Here is what it said when the error window came up on mine. "Error loading database. Line: #35057. (0). "

It worked fine the other day when I went to check for updates. No updates were available. But now I get this error message just like "ocky" does.

I hope this helps you "ocky" and Is this the same error message you got also?

Yes, looks like the same thing. Maybe only from malwarebytes.org server - I don't

know. Seems Ok after I did clean install. Will see what happens tomorrow.

Regards.
