Dale Read Posted February 5, 2011 ID:384422 Share Posted February 5, 2011 Hi,I have been getting this MsMxEng.exe virus for 3 months now. MB identifies it but cannot remove it. The only sure way to remove it is to boot the computer into safe mode with command prompt.Navigate to the root DIR C: \DIR RECYCLER /aCD RECYCLERDIR*.* /a on RECYCLER, open each of the directories using CD 1-5-21-5* DIR*.* /a until MsMxEng.exe is found. DEL MsMxEng.exe. confirm with DIR*.* /a. Reboot and rescan. It works, but can MB provide a better method?Dale Read
