Hello, asianmusicguy:

There is a recent thread on this very topic here:

http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=74032 (If you search the forums here, you will find several other threads, as well.)

According to several folks, it seems to work fine.

It is probably overkill to run both MBAM PRO and SAS PRO alongside your standard AV.

But, so long as MBAM and SAS have the appropriate permissions and exclusions in your AV and Firewall, and so long as you have adequate system resources, it should work.

That said, "more is sometimes less" when it comes to computer security.

Most importantly, be sure you are only running ONE software firewall and ONE antivirus -- trying to run more than one of these at a time will cause conflicts, crashes and compromises to your system security.

It is fine to then add the layer of an anti-malware program, such as MBAM +/- SAS, to protect against the rogues and other malware often missed by standard antivirus programs.

And remember, neither MBAM nor SAS is an antivirus, so you still need a standard antivirus, even if you run both MBAM and SAS.

If you are looking for recommendations for antivirus software (free and/or paid), please search the forums here, as there are many, many threads and posts on this particular topic.

I run KIS and malware bytes so is it overkill to have superantispyware

Yes, more than likely, it is overkill. And it may cause system slow-downs and/or conflicts to run SAS PRO with KIS, since KIS can be a bit resource intensive.

Several folks here run KIS or KAV with MBAM PRO and they work well together, again, so long as you take care to allow MBAM the necessary permissions in KIS/KAV, and vice versa.

I personally also use SAS FREE on this same rig, scanning several times a week for tracking cookies, which is something for which SAS is particularly good, and something neither KIS nor MBAM deal with.

Please read my earlier post, the thread I linked to in that post, and the many, other related posts here at the forum.

Ultimately, it is impossible for anyone to say what will or will not run properly on your particular system, since every computer is different (OS, hardware, software, etc).

IMHO, if you are running the current version of KIS (11.0.2.556 [a.b.c.]), and the current version of MBAM PRO, then you probably do not need SAS PRO (but could use SAS Free for on-demand scans for the occasional tracking cookie).

Best regards,
