Safe Mode BSoD when agpCPQ.sys is reached

The microsoft article talks about disabling the driver; something I don't wish to do.

In cause it says:

"This issue may occur if Windows XP tries to use an incompatible motherboard chipset video driver during startup."

I have reinstalled the manufacturer's chipset driver to no avail !

However, I did get Security Warning box about igfxtray.exe each time I booted into normal Windows ... something about it not being certified. Indeed, one utility at the Intel website wasn't able to update the driver because they were custom made for my machine.
