Unable to update Malwarebytes

Hi everyone,

Let me begin by saying that this program rocks, it finds things other programs don't and I think it scans very deep!

Anyway, when I'm trying to update "Check for Updates", the update screen pops up but there is no progression (the bar is hollow) for a really really really long time (like... forever!).

My current DB info is:

v1.30

Date: 10/25/2008

DB version: 1321

Fingerprints loaded: 54021

Is this the latest version?

And does anyone have any idea on why my mb can't update?

No it's NOT the latest. The DB is often updated many times every day.

Make sure you don't have a Firewall or a hosts file entry blocking Malwarebytes.org or SecurityWonks.net

The latest DB is:

DB - 1386

FP - 56289

Try selecting the Malwarebytes.org site as it's quite a bit faster most of the time.
