That screen is quite normal. American Megatrends is just the name of the hardware/software company that created the BIOS used by your ASUS PC. For details on who they are you can check out this page.

As for whether or not you can disable that screen, it's possible that there is an option in the BIOS to do so. Please consult the ASUS support page for your model PC. Their support website can be found here.
