Uninstalling Malwarebytes

Recommended Posts

You may delete the folder without any harm, yes.

Registry entries? Two likely remain, if you want them gone, you can find them under currentuser and local/machine software, malwarebytes antimalware

May I ask why you uninstalled it?

Thank you. I install software very reluctantly because it almost always leaves traces in the system at are very difficult to wipe clean.

So, before settling on software I plan to keep, I'll install it and then uninstall it to see how well the uninstall process cleans itself up. When a program completely wipes itself clean, I know I can trust it the developer who creates the software. Malwarebytes did a pretty nice job -- just leaving the one directory and a few registry entries. Malwarebytes also seemed to be very fast and detailed in its scan. Thank you!
