I can understand false positives. A few days ago newtool.exe in the jre6 was flagged. It's in the java that I use, so I could kind of understand if something ran it.

However, today MBAM flagged C:\Program Files\NetBeans 6.9\harness\launchers\app.exe. Again, it did this while I was away from the computer. But nope. Nothing should have been using anything in NetBeans. It flagged it as a malicious program trying to run and as a Trojan Dropper. I submitted it to virus total and it said it had seen it before and 0/43. So, it's the original file and not infected.

BUT, what caused this program to run in the first place? Is there some kind of booger program running random (to me) programs on my system when there is no user input for nn minutes? Why, why, why did it try to run??????
