System Tool 2011

Recommended Posts

My husband has a new Toshiba laptop running Windows 7.

He logged in under his user name and System Tool 2011 took over.

I logged in under my user name and I'm fine. I purchased and downloaded the full version of malwarebytes and did the quick scan (the full scan kept shutting me down). The scan located the System Tool file and deleted it. However, when my husband logged back in under his user name, System Tool still had control of the computer under his user name. He can't get online, he can't open any program, he can't do anything!

I logged back in under my user name and ran the malwarebyte scan again, but it found nothing this time.

What can we do to get rid System Tool 2011?

Welcome to the forum, no need to use such big font...the default font works just fine.

See if following this guide works.

Make sure you run rkill and then immediately run MBAM as desribed.

Most important....update MBAM before you run it.

The link below explains how to rename MBAM if needed:

Post the logs back here, Let me know....MrC
