Muccarro Posted January 8, 2011 ID:371248 Share Posted January 8, 2011 I ran Malwarebytes because I was constantly redirected in all my browsers and was fed up. After initial installation the malwarebytes program told me it was 17 days away from updating but would not update. My internet did work before and during the scan. I then deleted all the infections and found that all my browsers stopped working. I have firefox, Google chrome and IE. I looked for hours for answers using my laptop but no answer helped. I restored defaults in internet connections from the tools menu, started in safe mode, uninstalled and reinstalled malwarebytes and as before it still would not update, restored from yesterdays restore point using my Norton 360 virus software, restarted my modem, and finally found this forum. The error code I receive is "Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): The server could not be found". I have done all that was requested and running the program malwarebytes again found nothing during a complete scan. I am attaching the info from the ark and dds files.
