Screens to large

Recommended Posts

I have a Dell laptop running Vista. When I'm on forums or Facebook (including this forum) the screen is HUGE. Like literally I have to scroll down using the bar on the side to hit reply. The bar on the side of this page currently is all the way to the top but I can't see the bottom of the box that I'm typing in. I have tried to go under tools, reduced font but nothing helps. Any suggestions what I can do?

Which browser are you using? In Google Chrome, under tools there is a 'zoom' function. In Firefox in View there is also a 'zoom in' and 'zoom out' function. Actually, I don't see anything about changing the size of the font in either one of those. I seem to remember being able to choose font size, but I don't see a means to do that now. Oh, I see it's there in IE (which I seldom use anymore), choosing the text size. Opera has the 'view' size in the bottom right hand corner.

Anyway, try the 'zoom' and see if that changes the page display size for you.

Hello bellabear,

I too wonder if you have perhaps zoomed in a bit far into your browser. A simple way to correct this would be to hold control and scroll the mouse-wheel down until you zoom out within your browser.

Hope this helps! Have a great new year!
