On a full system scan MBAM detected Trojan.Goldon. When I attempted to quarantine this MBAM hangs and returns the message 'Malwarebytes antimalware has stopped working'.

I have tried including MBAM as a trusted application in AV software (Kaspersy Internet Security 2011) but this makes no difference.

Has anyone else encountered this or a similar problem and perhaps have any suggestions how to deal with this?

Thanks

Hi

Thanks for your suggestion. I have run a full scan with Kaspersky and it is clear. I know for sure that the system is infected. I had to reinstall win 7 a few days ago as I could not remove the Trojan Goldon with MBAM for the reson I gave. It sems the trojan is now in the 'old windows' archive file but I am unable to delet the files in that folder.

Perhaps I should contact support for further help?

Thanks
