Windows BSOD (continued)

Recommended Posts

I downloaded the newer version of Malwarebytes tonight and now cannot scan in any mode. Before, only in full scan would I blow out with BSOD, now with the new version, even on quick scan comes BSOD - my last version BTW, was dated 12/20/10.

Oddly enough, my Spyware Doctor and Webroot Spy Sweeper run fine but not Malwarebytes for some reason. Even when I shut off my Avira AV. So is there a Windows 'safe mode' where one might run Malwarebytes successfully? Am running XPpro.
