Trojen dns changer kills internet

Recommended Posts

Hi all thanks for any help.

I used malwarebytes tool and came up with a number of infections in my registry. I deleted them all and after reboot I could not get my internet to work any longer. I tracked the internet problem to these 2 spacific items and put them back in their place.

Registry Data Items Infected:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\{CD8E2F04-B470-4B35-982F-23D7AE051A7A}\NameServer (Trojan.DNSChanger) -> Bad: (, Good: () -> Not selected for removal.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\NameServer (Trojan.DNSChanger) -> Bad: (, Good: () -> Not selected for removal.

Any help on how to remove them and not kill my internet connection.

Thanks very much
