Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post DDS.txt directly into your reply.

its a friends laptop. She was having something pop-up all the time telling her there were viruses on her computer. I noticed her norton was out-dated, so I dl'd and installed AVG. Problem is when i attempted to run AVG is would not start, however windows defender picked it up as being the current anti-virus program.

I believed that the Malware Bytes was updated, I thought i ran the update. I wont have the computer for another few days, as Im currently out of town, i will check it out again when i return and I will DL DDS and run it. next post will have the logs you request.
