shadowwar #3 Posted December 20, 2010 These are not false positives. These are incoming connections to your pc from china somewheres. So mbam is working as designed blocking these. You may want to post in the malware removal forum to make sure there is nothing on your pc.

You may want to post in the malware removal forum to make sure there is nothing on your pc.Hello shadowwar. Thank you for your reply. I have already had my pc checked for infections, and it is clean. I have scanned with MBAM, Superantispyware.ESET,Combofix, and GMER. Is there any way I can stop China from attacking my pc?? I really need some help from someone. Are other members reporting this kind of attack from China?Thank you for your help sir!!
shadowwar #5 Posted December 20, 2010 Make sure your firewall is working properly. I assume you are directly connected to the internet with no router? If so:People attack all the time. That is why you have defenses like MBAM and Firewalls to stop this. Nothing much you can do to stop attacks besides maybe a hardware router, Software firewall and Mbam. Guest garybear #6 Posted December 20, 2010 OK shadowwar. Thank you for your advice and your time. I really appreciate you.I have a ADSL2 Comtrend Router. I have avira free AV, Online Armor firewall Free, and MBAM running in real time. I keep my PC backed up regularly with Macrium Reflect, so I'm not worried all that much. These are just annoying me, and I can live with it until the Chinese get tired and give up. I have learned after starting this thread (FYI) that these are coming from IObit forum. It' really a damn shame we have to put up with these things, but that's the internet.I want to wish everyone on the staff at MBAM a Merry Christmas and a big thank you for your wonderful software. I will never go on the web without MBAM running in real time.PS My advise to all members and visitors ,please do not get involved with these Chinese vendors. I did and now I'm paying the price.Thank you again my friend shadowwar. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you!!Congrats on being the no1 down load MBAM!! Guest garybear #13 Posted December 22, 2010 Hello! I want to thank shadowwar, wildman, and MBAM.I have done what you suggested wildman. I have removed all software from this company with Revo uninstaller, RegSeeker, Regedit, and Search EveryThing. If there is any thing left, I don't know where it could be.The hacking attempts have stopped for now, and I'm happy about that. I will attach new MBAM logs. This behavior is unexceptionable from a software company. I wish I could do some thing about it.I want to thank MBAM forum for allowing me to post this thread on their forum. I want to thank MBAM for their great program that is blocking these sites from hacking into my PC.I hope that this thread will help someone avoid all the problems this company has caused me.Thanks shadowwar. Thanks wildman. A special thanks to MBAM, I recommend you to all my friends. I think I now know what is going on, and we will just leave that as is for the moment. You will make a excellent Malware fighter.I can tell you my friend, it had nothing to do with updates, and I will say no more.Thank you for caring my friend. Guest garybear #16 Posted December 23, 2010 Hello wildman. I have to be very careful how I post here. I do not want to get banned. My neighbor just called me to tell me his PC stopped responding. We share the same ISP.After his PC has been on a while, he starts losing memory. He has 4 GB and it will go down to where he only has 500MB left. At that time his PC becomes slow and will eventually stop responding. If he restarts his PC, he will get his memory back, and it will be alright for awhile. This is telling me that there is a bad memory leak or there is some thing else wrong. He does not have the paid version of MBAM running in real time, but is going to buy it soon.I wish I were more PC literate and could explain this better. He has asked me to stop posting about these blocked IP addresses and the trouble I'm having until he has the paid version of MBAM. He is convinced that his problems only start after I have complained about these blocked IP's and other things. He is a lot smarter than I am about computers and is convinced. XXXXX is causing his problems. They have accused him of being me in the past, and so I can understand why he feels this way.He says his computer runs just fine for weeks until I start posting about these things and then he starts having trouble with memory.I have no way to prove him wrong, but I will stop posting until he has the paid version of MBAM.We talk almost daily and he knows when I'm posting and what I'm posting about.I do not know what is going on ,but will not post on this thread again until he has purchased MBAM.I thank you wildman, and I know this is way out there, but I will honor my neighbor's request.I really appreciate you my friend. I know this all sounds craze.I only know one thing for sure about this whole thing, and that is I'm not getting these blocked IP's because of updates. You have been good to me and I really appreciate you sir.Happy Holidays my friend!! The best to you and yours!!
wildman424 #17 Posted December 23, 2010 :) none of that makes any sense unless your using the same router and it got hijacked if he doesn't have a software firewall or MBAM Pro then he's probably been compromised as there would be nothing to block the bad ip's like your MBAM didif its blocking those ip's its blocking them for a reasonHappy Holidays to youop has appeared to resolve the problem
Guest garybear #18 Posted December 23, 2010 none of that makes any sense unless your using the same router and it got hijacked if he doesn't have a software firewall or MBAM Pro then he's probably been compromised as there would be nothing to block the bad ip's like your MBAM didif its blocking those ip's its blocking them for a reasonHappy Holidays to youop has appeared to resolve the problemHello wildman. I understand MBAM is blocking these IP's for a reason. I just don't know for sure what that reason is. I don't know what (op) means. We are not using the same router, but have the same ISP. That's why IObit thinks we are the same person. I'm not computer literate. My neighbor is a busy person, but says he will explain all this latter. I will wait for that. I will tell you this my friend, and hope it doesn't cause me or you any problems.I can log on to IObit forum and my MBAM log will be full of blocked IP's until I change my IP address. This is true and I can prove this. I did not want to post this at this time, but felt I owed you this much because you have been very good to me.I appreciate you my friend. Study hard and get that malware fighter degree.PS There is a reason my MBAM log is full of blocked IP address and I'll bet no one esle has logs like I have posted. In one day I will get 60 or 70 hits from hackers. That just ain't right, and I have never heard of this before, and I have read a lot of threads on this site!! wildman424 #19 Posted December 23, 2010 ok I think I get were your coming If your not on the same local network (using the same router) its unlikely his problem is connected to yours other than being blocked from a site your blocked from because of an ip ban. make sense. but as I said those ip's belong to telecommunications companies so there's probably millions of users using them making it almost impossible to pinpoint where the connections are coming from exactly reset your router, reset your firewall and you should be good to go
Guest garybear #20 Posted December 23, 2010 Hello wildman!! I can get a different IP address with just two clicks with my mouse. That's what I do all the time. My ISP has 72 towns and we all share IP's. I change my IP constantly. Every time I get a different town and a different IP. I sent you a PM.. Thanks for all your time and great advice.PS There is no telling how many different IP address I can have. I rarely keep one longer than a couple of days. I hope I'm making sense. I wish I were more computer literate
