Virus wont let me install malwarebytes

Recommended Posts

My son downloaded something or clicked something and now we have a virus that is causing a default to windows media player. I was able to finally perform an AVG virus scan and it found 4 trojan viruses..a Trojan Generic and Trojan PWS form and I dont remember what the other 2 were. the virus protector was not able to heal them but eventually i was able to remove them. The icons on the desk top have become windows media player icons. I have tried to download malwarebytes but once I run the program the windos media player comes on. In safe mode i was able to download the program but when i clicked run it told me that the tv and media was not sufficient to work efficiently. I dont know what else to try..please help!!
