False "Trojan.Agent" detection on our company's executable

Recommended Posts

We've discovered that an executable named "motorselectionmanager.exe", that our company develops, is being flagged by Malwarebytes as "Trojan.Agent".

Attached are two files:

- MotorSelectionManager.zip: This is a zipped copy of the executable

- mbam-log-2010-12-17 (15-06-21).txt: This is the log generated by Malwarebytes in "/developer" mode.

If you need any more information, feel free to contact me. NOTE: We would like to release this code in the next week or so, so your prompt attention would be appreciated.

This should be fixed in the next update..

Some tips though..

Fully fill out your version tab info before you release it. Malware likes to leave a lot blank lines like this..

No version # no copyright or description will ask for problems in the future with AV's and all malware removal apps.

Alrighty, thanks much for the help. Do you have any idea when your next release might be?
