Safe mode or not

Recommended Posts

Hello and :)

Malwarebytes was designed to run in Windows Normal Mode. This is the preferred method. Running it in safe mode, although it will run, should only be done as a last resort and with guidance from one of the experts.

If you do run it in safe mode and clean up some infections, once you are back to normal mode I recommend you run Malwarebytes once again, most times you will notice that it will find more infections. This is due to that fact that when you are running in safe mode not everything gets loaded so Malwarebytes is not able to perform the best scan.

Hope that answers your question.
