Windows Mail password deleted after installing Malwarebytes

Recommended Posts

I learned about this GREAT product only 2 days ago while looking for ways to help a friend whose system was badly contaminated. Malwarebytes completely cleaned his system. After that, I downloaded the program to scan my own PC which runs on Vista with Windows Mail. After scanning my system (nothing found), I left the program there and yesterday morning when I check for mail, my password was deleted. Each time that I opened my mail account properties and entered the password, it was deleted. After uninstalling Malwarebytes, the password was saved.

Has anyone experienced this type of behavior in Vista/Windows Mail and if so, was there a solution. I love this program and want to tell everyone about it. TIA for your help.

Can you get me a scan log of this please , I will be able to figure this out with only a little more info .

Thanks for your fast response. After having the password problem yesterday, I uninstalled the software (version 1.29) but installed version 1.30 today. It retrieved yesterdays log:

I must tell you that version 1.30 is currently installed and there is no problem with my password in Windows Mail. Could it be that the incompatibility was with Windows Mail and version 1.29?

Thanks again.
