Wildrat Posted October 24, 2008 ID:32081 Share Posted October 24, 2008 I am using XP Pro X64. I updated and it's working sorta, well mostly working except for when I hit Start Protection, then I get Error Code 732 (0, 0)What is wrong? Is it my machine as usual. I am also running Bitdefender Total Security 2009. I'll check back in the morning EST time and see what the answer is, I have to get some sleep before I have more than just an error code with this computer. EliteKiller Posted October 24, 2008 ID:32117 Share Posted October 24, 2008 I feel bad that nobody has bothered to reply to this FAQ. Maybe they were hoping that you would use the search feature. Unfortunately real-time protection is not available in 64-bit OS'es.http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.p...26&hl=64bit
Wildrat Posted October 24, 2008 Author ID:32118 Share Posted October 24, 2008 Thanks! I did use the search function to try and find my problem. I did not get the right results with the words I used to perform the search. I kinda figured it was a X64 problem, glad you told me.
EliteKiller Posted October 24, 2008 ID:32119 Share Posted October 24, 2008 You're welcome. I would foresee MBAM x64 real-time support in the future, but last I heard there wasn't a firm eta. It appears that RubbeR DuckY will offer a refund to those w/ an x64 OS that purchased MBAM for its real-time protection.

Wildrat Posted October 24, 2008 Author ID:32189 Share Posted October 24, 2008 No thank you on the refund. It is better to use as it is than to have to deal with what happen to me earlier in the week. I just have a scan scheduled everyday. What might be a nice function to have in the program is to be able to schedule multiple scans. It's kinda like AV software, it has it's real time scanner but you still do a full scan every now and then just to be safe. I have a full scan scheduled everyday. It would take a lot of some systems resources slowing them down. That's the benefit of X64, 8GB of memory, and my quad core processor helps a little. No, I like the program even if it doesn't have full functionality on my machine. Plus, I like this forum, it's calm here, and no one is throwing sticks and stones at anyone, well maybe little one.
