Trojan.Agent.Gen False Positive?

Recommended Posts

MB finds 8 locations of a Trojan.Agent.Gen that indicates the file name is hotfix.exe at all 8 locations. It cannot rid the system of these. When I go to those locations, there isn't any hotfix.exe file. NAV2011 doesn't find these which may or may not mean anything. Any suggestions? Is this a false positive?

Yes, I know it's a different one, in your case, it's defined as the filename hotfix.exe in your Kaseya.

In Kaseya server (Audit -> Protection) > File access > application blocker ... there should be some static filenames listed there. In your case it looks like hotfix.exe is entered there.

Is there an option to remove that names there?
