FYI: Here is a link with the same error, maybe reading this helps.

@ wijllie - Please note that items in that forum area have been based on specific logs and other information that may be user specific -

It is never a good idea to show people threads from the Malware Removal forum to compare with their own problems -

People are asked to use tools in that forum that must be supervised by an expert - Personally I would edit the link out -

Thank You -

Since it was exactly the same error he got he could try to follow the post.

That's the reason why:

after a serious infection I couldn't do anything anymore with a laptop of mine.

With another computer I searched about the problem and ran into the

Malwarebytes Forums with a guide to remove the same malware I got.

I followed the instructions and downloaded the programs which removed the

malware. After installing Malwarebytes the laptop was fully cleaned.

You see, there is no harm done with downloading and testing the tools as mentioned

in the forum (but always at own risk).

I know it is person related but it helped me a lot and even helped me to decide

to put Malwarebytes Pro on all my 6 systems.

However, I removed the link as requested :D

Hi -

Thanks for that - It is just that if Combofix , scanners , or other tools are used , they must only be used on specific computers and some tools and directions will not relate from a Windows7 unit to an XP unit or a 64 bit unit may differ from a 32 bit unit -

Sorry but it is just a "basic protocol" on most forums that each unit is treated on a personal basis -

Thank You -
