Error message when closing MBAM 1.50

I am also experiencing this annoying defect. The company replied to my support request with the same advice re: OmniScan etc.

Now here's my problem with this so-called "solution." What if I do have the software in question, use it very occasionally (for OCR), and do not want to buy an upgrade? It seems to me more than goofy that MBAM, which prior to 1.50 did not exhibit this defect, cannot be fixed by its developers.

Imagine instead that the advice was, "if you have Office 2003 installed you must uninstall it or upgrade to a new version." I suspect you would have a lot of unhappy customers.

According to this, it is a known issue with their software. It appears that when we changed the precise coding to the commands we use to exit the scanner (likely the same ones used by Internet Explorer), it causes this bug to occur.

Doesn't OmniPage have an update feature in it? It looks like each version of OmniPage since OmniPage 11 has a service pack, so what happens if you check for updates in OmniPage?
