As the title suggests, I can no longer get MBAM to automatically update in real time. I've uninstalled the program several times, run mbamclean, reinstalled, etc. Nothing works. I've even tried hourly, which also does not work. I've noticed that some of the program files have changed, so wouldn't the exceptions I normally add to NIS need to be changed as well? Which specific files in the new version need to be changed? I can only hope that is the issue...

Thanks in advance

Well, after trying lots of options and reinstalling some more, I finally got hourly updates to work. Realtime updates still do not work, however, which is somewhat disappointing. I suppose in the meantime that hourly updates are plenty adequate in terms of overall protection. I'd still prefer the realtime updates to work as they did before, though.

Support told me the problem will be solved in a few weeks with a program update.

My updates are OK now, problem was probably a date format error.

They send me a patch (1.50.0.1) which solved the problem.

However, there are still some onboot update errors and a missmatch

in date time & format between the interface and the system icon.

I told them but didn't get any response to that...

Don't ask me to send the patch, support will handle that.

wijllie Has found that he needed to use the USA version of Dates - (mm - dd - yyyy) -

Many people , like me , use the dd - mm -yyyy version of setting dates - Please note the pictures and dates in the following diagrams below -

The date is for March 30th - So setting in US/English versions (and some others) you must set 3 - 30 - 2010 , not 30 - 3 - 2010 as many would -

There was an issue with updating which has been identified and corrected. However, it has nothing to do with date formatting or localization. If you are experiencing this issue, please contact the Help Desk.

Was it addressed in the form of an update or do I need to download and reinstall a newer version?
