Deleting key components

Hello. I have some Adobe Audition software on my PC. Malwarebytes recently disposed of various compoents (inc audipp.dll), which made I had to track down the software and reinstall it. I'm advised that, to quote, "one of the reasons the files were deleted was because it is in an incorrect location on the drive, the \Program Files folder should never contain any files, just folders." What's the best way to stop the Malawarebytes prog from doing the same again and devouring those key components? Many thanks in advance.

Welcome to Malwarebytes! C:\Program Files should contain just Folders. If you want to remove Adobe, I'll find you a removal tool? As for Malwarebytes, Download it to your Desktop, Launch the .exe. It knows where to go... exactly what seems to be the issue? --- post back your Operating System please. and any Security software..regards..

PS: Check the Quaratine folder of Malwarebytes, see if anything is in there?

If your Adobe Audition software has been put back in the right place and is working ok... then try this, Here are instructions for a Malwarebytes un-install, a Malwarebytes Clean tool which just cleans out the last copy of Malwarebytes, and a re-install of a fresh copy.. instructions below..

Please do the following to see if it resolves the issue: Post back and let us know please

Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Paid version only

Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.

Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now reset any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications.

You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask us and we will explain how to do it.

Thank You
