Trojan Removal Help

Recommended Posts

Hey I'm new here, I downloaded the free version of MB ages ago and earlier I was looking for icons for my website and I came across this site and a warning came up saying that I may have a virus. I scanned my computer with MB and it found one Trojan. After a three hour scan I tried to delete it and it said it would be deleted on reboot so I rebooted it, then tried to delete it and it's now off the listed of quarantine.

Now I'm worried if my computer is safe or not and I want to be able to login to other sites I use with confidence that MB is really trust worthy and can be certain it hasn't missed anything? Thank you.

We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums.

Please read the other pinned topic for Common Issues, Questions, and their Solutions which may answer some of your questions for you.

Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic

and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someon has replied to your post.

BTW, try scanning with your anti-virus, as an anti-malware or any other type of product can't catch %100 of malware.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is just a extra layer of protection. -_-
