Broken.OpenCommand

Recommended Posts

I have the following response whenever I complete a scan under both XP and VISTA.

Registry Data Items Infected:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\scrfile\shell\open\command\ (Broken.OpenCommand) -> Bad: (NOTEPAD.EXE %1) Good: ("%1" /S) -> No action taken. [3974894881707936807878667969840910013986796885748079]

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\shell\open\command\ (Broken.OpenCommand) -> Bad: (NOTEPAD.EXE %1) Good: (regedit.exe "%1") -> No action taken. [3974894881707936807878667969840910013986796885748079]

Is this a false positive?

This is MBAM making a needed repair. Please allow it.

THIS IS MBAM MAKING AN UNNEEDED REPAIR. system mechanic makes the alteration to fix a security flaw. I ran them back to back just to make sure with several scans of each inbetween.

System mechanic is making scr and reg files function incorrectly and calling it a fix . If a helper ever gives you a reg file to fix something after system mechanic "fixes" this the helper's fix will fail .
