who's calling home?

Recommended Posts

MBAM continually blocks malicious address. Two of them are near Beijing, China. One is in the Netherlands. I've run many MBAM scans, Anti-Root kit scans and several different anti-virus scans including an Avast boot time scan. All of them come up clean. I can give you the I.P. addresses from the log if this helps. How can I find and clean this?

Yes I have the paid version of MBAM and these blocks happen with no browser open. The OS is win 7 if that matters. I've disabled all unnecessary start up entries.

Is Skype running? See this thread

I read that forum post earlier. I don't use skype and have never installed any skype software. I download 1.5 now. I saw it should show the process so I'm waiting to see. I ran Tcpview.exe earlier but I didn't see anything that grabbed my attention. I'm going to look at firewall permissions now. Thank You all for your posts.
