MBAM Change Last Access Date/Time?

That is actually a good question. I don't currently have an answer but I'm betting that it does.

I know that Symantec BackupExec in conjunction with their Corporate Antivirus were doing that even though that was their field of specialty. We worked with them for about 3 months at a large Corporate site to pin it down and get them to fix it. (this was about 5 years ago)

If I get time tonight I will run some tests to confirm whether or not it does modify Last Access Time

MSDN File Times

Check current status if Last Access Time is enabled or not on the system. Run from a DOS prompt.

fsutil behavior query disablelastaccess

Though you can disable it I would not recommend it myself if you want to use Backup software.
