Updating Fresh Copy of Malwarebytes

"An error has occurred. Pleas report this error code to our support team." MBAM_ERROR_UPDATING (12007, 0, WinHttpSendRequest)"

I've installed this program on several computers because of past satisfaction using this removal tool and on each computer this same code appears. Any help is appreciated.

Please list your current Operating System (XP Vista Win7) , your antivirus and any installed firewall -

Then we can fix this for you -

You can follow the fix described by Firefox in the other thread you were looking at , and see if this fixes your problem first -

I did all of the steps in the other thread I posted in and still no luck.

I'm running Windows XP Service Pack 3. I uninstalled AVG 2011 (Free) and have Windows Firewall Turned off.

There is a known issue with AVG and Malwarebytes, and I do not know at the moment if it has been resolved by AVG at the moment. You may try another free anti-virus program like Microsoft Security Essentials for example.

Also if you are using a router to access the internet on all these computers, it could be hijacked so reset your router back to factory default. This is usually done by holding down the reset button for 10 seconds. Then change the password to your router.
