A Seemingly Simple Question

Recommended Posts

I've been trawling this forum and the interweb to find a good antivirus. I used to have McAfee 2010 but it annoyed me for the last time, so got Comodo Internet Security as it was free (most important consideration for the penniless student!) but scans are very 'clunky' and too resource heavy with CPU usage of ~97% for the duration of the scan (McAfee was ~15% and therefore unnoticeable in the back ground).

So what I am asking is what antivirus/firewall/internet security should I get that is lightweight with good detection rates and also works with the paid for version of Malwarebytes.

Many Thanks
