any good ip finders?

im just wondering if thers any software available that can identify ip addresses?

i see a few ip addresses in my firewall log and would like to know what they are.

any help would be very appreciated.

You can enter the IP into a Google search box - Just enter the numbers and it will give you a vague area of the Base -

Or you can use TCP View from Systernals , a Windows based program that shows a lot more detail on the particular person trying to access your system - It updates every second , so if you are getting several blocks in a row , this should identify them much better - I can see 3 of 5 tracking cookies are active now -

Go to the botton of the page and just hit "Run TCP View now" and all active incoming programs are shown in colors -
