Msft Sec Essentials and mbam combination OK?

Just wanted to check if MS Security Essentials and a registered Malwarebytes on a machine - is a good working combination?

Any issues or considerations? ..this would be on a Windows 7 32-bit system.

I've run that combination on XP 32 bit, Vista 32 bit, Vista 64 bit, 7 32 bit and 7 64 bit and haven't had any issues as long as exclusions are set in Microsoft Security Essentials for Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware as described in the link provided by yardbird above .

Well, I am using it since long on fully patched XP SP3 Professional, without any issue(s). How much RAM do you have? Do you have following exclusions added to MSE for MBAM:

• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe

• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe

• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamext.dll

I set this up on computers that run Windows XP SP3 with little ram cause it good on resources.... Runs great.

I ran MSE on Vista and it was pretty heavy. Performance went way down.
