Malware/Virus infection

Hi,

I was infected by Security Tool malware, trojan.downloader, trajon.agent, hijack.sound, and hijack.shell although I have Norton Internet Security running.

I downloaded Malwarebytes and it found these infections and successfully removed them. Do I need to do anything else? Do I need to reformat my hard disk and reinstall everything? I talked to a computer repair guy close to my house, he told me that if I was infected with Trojan, it is best to reformat the hard disk.

Please advise.
