I have an infection/virus on my computer that won't let me do anything. I can't get online or open hardly anything on my computer. Interestingly enough I did succesfully run AVG and it said no infections found.

I had a attack on my work computer once and Malwarebytes helped me fix the problem. I come back to you for help!

A popup on my computer from "Security Essentials" says I have an infection called Win32Trojan. I obviously can't get online and download Malwarebytes as this infection is not allowing me to open a browser or get online. Can you please help me fix this? Please give me step by step instructions as I am far from a computer guy. I am not stupid on the topic I would say I am average in terms of computer knowledge for a 33 year old ;)

Please, please help me!

As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have.

  • Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.
