Antivirus 2010 virus removal

Recommended Posts

I downloaded Malwarebytes to remove Antivirus 2010 (a rogue anti-spyware program), but there seems to be a problem with the permission. when i click on malwarebytes, a message comes up: Windows cannot access the specified device path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to acess the item. I tried using cacls to change the permission, and it worked for a while, so i started a virus scan to get rid of AV2010, but then when i tried to open it again to see the scan results, the same thing happened. I used cacls again, but when i opened the file, the scan had not been done. I have tried many times- it keeps happening. I am not an advanced computer user, it took me a long time to learn all this online. Please help me fix this problem before AV2010 gets out of hand. Please help, anyone, i would be so grateful.
